Event Overview

Sakura Quest is a student outreach initiative by Education Japan designed to help Indian students explore higher education opportunities in Japan.

The program runs in two phases:
1.City Outreach (Online + Offline) : Education Japan is visiting major Indian cities to connect with students through quizzes and personalized consultations.
2.Grand Finale: Shortlisted students will be invited to the final event on 21st September 2025 at Pride Plaza Hotel, Aerocity, Delhi. Here, they will meet J apanese university representatives, explore scholarship options, and receive exclusive guidance for their study-in-Japan journey.

Event Format and Structure

City Outreach and Student Selection

Education Japan will travel to the following cities to meet students in person and online. The objective is to identify promising candidates who wish to study in Japan.

Target Cities: Dehradun, Jaipur, New Delhi, Guwahati, Kolkata, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai.
Activities will include: Student interviews (in person and online) Free consultations with counselors Information sessions about studying in Japan Guidance on scholarships and university selection

Final Event – September 2025

Students shortlisted from the city outreach will be invited to the final event in September. This event will include:

Meetings with university representatives from Japan

On-the-spot admissions and scholarship guidance

One-on-one personalized sessions

Opportunities for direct interviews and interactions

Travel support and ticket sponsorship for selected candidates
